Our Fascination of Plants Day 2017 celebration will be a guided tour of Green Island Gardens with an opportunity to stay afterwards and explore the gardens further and access the café for lunch.
There is much to explore in the 20 acres of gardens designed by Fiona Edmond, including: bluebells and azaleas in the extensive woodland garden, a Japanese garden, huge island beds, as well as water, gravel, and seaside gardens all packed with a host of unusual plants often of borderline hardiness seen thriving in the unique island microclimate.
