This training event is open to anyone looking to progress their career in molecular bioscience as well as those with managerial or supervisory responsibilities who are involved in developing students or colleagues. It is suitable for participants from academia, industry and other sectors and for all career stages.


The course will provide a broad and interactive range of sessions aimed at increasing employability and supporting progression within the same career ladder or in a new sector. Participants will be equipped with vital key skills including networking, reflection, applying for jobs and marketing themselves to different audiences. There will be a mixture of large and small group activities with a focus on the participants' own skills and career plans. The speakers and organisers come from a wide range of roles and sectors, and will help participants to gain a greater understanding of the different molecular bioscience career paths.
