Dilston Physic Garden is in beautiful countryside near to Corbridge. It was created in the 1990s as a research resource into the uses of medicinal plants, more than 800 of which are grown on the site. Professor Elaine Perry will give members a guided tour with a particular emphasis on plants for the brain.
Details of the garden and how to get there can be found the garden website. If travelling by car, you should note that the gardens car park is very small and you are advised to park at the Scout Camp car park from which there is a 500m walk to the garden.
Please bring waterproof clothing and stout shoes in case of inclement weather. Please bring a picnic
There is a charge of £3.00 per person for this event and places can be booked online at the link above.
Since only small groups can be shown around at a time it is essential that places are booked in advance.
