The crucial role of potters in the war against microbes at the Staffordshire University Big Biology Day.

Discover the role of potters in the war against microbes at this years' Staffordshire Big Biology Day. This free, public, event allows aspiring scientists of all ages to get up close to bugs, bees and reptiles and discover the range of interactions between biology and everyday life. A range of activities, talks and workshops will be on offer throughout the day. No booking is required.

Head of biology, Dr Angela Priestman said: "As biologists ourselves, we want to help everyone see the beauty and potential of biology and to inspire future biologists who will help to create a sustainable future and improve life for every person on the planet."
“Biology can surprise you. It's all around us and the Big Biology Day is about showing people how fascinating and fun it can be.”
