A guided tour of the prehistoric Kents Cavern followed by a talk from Dr Lee Knight
Dr Lee Knight is a freelance freshwater ecologist who researches groundwater invertebrate biology and runs a recording scheme for hypogean crustaceans.
Lee will join the branch on a tour of Kents Cavern - one of Europe's most important Stone Age sites - to point out items of biological interest. After a break for light refreshments, Lee will give a talk in the Exhibition area of the caves on “Groundwater invertebrate ecology”.
