A visit to the National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth, with guided tours and a VR experience
The
aquarium, which is the largest in the UK, features local animals and Atlantic Ocean and Great Barrier Reef tanks.
Attendees will meet outside the NMA at 10:00 for a 10:30 start. Everyone will be divided into four groups of up to 10, and remain in them for the whole day for a rotation of four activities - a guided tour of the exhibits, a behind-the-scenes tour, a VR workshop and free time to explore the aquarium.
Please note: if you wish to be with others in the same group, please specify in the 'other requests' box when booking.
There will be a short break for lunch, however lunch will not be provided and attendees are encouraged to visit the onsite café.
The NMW closes at 17:00 but attendees are free to stay on until then after group activities finish at 15:00. Participants are to remain seated in the VR workshop.
Parking
Parking is available at Sutton Harbour car park, on the aquarium side of the bridge. Directions follow brown and white fish signs.
