Reviewing the wealth of opportunities to engage all levels of biosciences students with written media


Event outline

The event will discuss the wealth of opportunities that are available to use written media to engage with all levels of biosciences learners. Using examples developed for high school students to students and researchers in higher education, it will highlight the primary importance of taking into account the background knowledge of the audience. A range of examples will be discussed, including several promoted by the Royal Society of Biology. The event will be useful for those considering using writing to supplement their current career or for venturing into different types of writing in their future career.


Who should attend?

University/college students (undergraduate, postgraduates, university/college staff (especially early career staff) and anyone else with an interest in bioscience writing.
