Join Dr Colleen Maxwell, as she gives us an insight into a day in her life as a researcher

Colleen is a post doctoral researcher at the University of Leicester, and was recently awarded her PhD focusing on cardiovascular disease. Colleen's research is interdisciplinary, and she works at the interface between biological sciences, analytical chemistry, and clinical translation.

Colleen's primary research objective is the identification of innovative biomarkers for coronary artery disease, a condition characterised by the accumulation of fatty plaques in the heart arteries that can lead to heart attacks.

Join us for this online webinar to explore a typical day in a biomarker research laboratory, where cutting-edge robots and analytical instruments are used to advance biomarker research and develop new blood tests, ultimately improving patient outcomes.
