A four-day conference bringing together scientists from across the world to showcase advances in avian endocrinology.
The 12th International Symposium on Avian Endocrinology (ISAE2022) is to be held at the John McIntyre Conference Centre, Pollock Halls in Edinburgh.
With a combination of plenary lectures, symposia and poster sessions, ISAE2022 is the ideal venue to meet other scientists and exchange information regarding everything "bird hormone". The ISAE is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of avian endocrinologists and will be kicking off the conference with an afternoon dedicated to early career researchers.
Activities on offer for attendees include all refreshments and lunch during each day, an opening reception and Gala Dinner as well as the opportunity to book an excursion on a Bass Rock boat trip to see magnificent sea birds like the iconic gannet and puffin.
For more information on registration, abstract submission and a full conference programme please visit the
ISAE website.
Please note: Abstract submission closes on 1st May 2022.
Accommodation
The organising committee has secured a special reduced rate at Pollock Halls for participant accommodation which includes both student and family rooms. Pollock Halls are located just south of the city centre, close to the Scottish Parliament, and within walking distance of the famous Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle. The number of rooms blocked for ISAE 2022 is limited and will be offered on a first come first serve basis so attendees are strongly encouraged to plan their travel and accomodation in advance.
