An online lecture delivered by Dr Mark Woombs, co-founder of WA Marine & Environment

Event outline

Echinoderms are the spiny skinned animals of the sea. This means the starfish, sea urchins, brittlestars, feather stars and sea cucumbers. These amazing creatures are extremely complex, yet don't have a heart or blood, can regenerate lost limbs and have tiny feet all over their arms.

Join the North Western branch committee to learn all about these fascinating animals and how to identify them in this online lecture over Zoom, delivered by Dr Mark Woombs. Mark is the co-founder of WA Marine & Environment, a marine environmental consultancy company specializing in a wide spectrum of marine and estuarine activities.

There will be time for audience questions following the talk.

Cost and booking

This event is free to attend and open to all. Advance booking is essential through the link at the top of the page, and the Zoom link will be circulated with all registered attendees in advance.
