An exciting opportunity to know and understand more about the ecology of salt marshes

The habitat under consideration is the salt marsh at Stanah, Wyre Estuary Country Park. Attendees will identify and classify species found on the marsh and consider the adaptations of halophytes to saline conditions and haloseres in littoral zonation.

Waterproof clothing including wellington boots or walking boots is recommended. There are cafe and public toilets at Stanah for use by attendees if necessary. It is recommended that attendees bring their own packed lunches and drinks.

Please meet at the Riverside Room at 10:00 for the start of the course.

This event is part of the Ecology For All series. All events can be seen at www.rsb.org.uk/NorthWestern or by downloading the poster.
