A residential course on popular writing about plant health from The British Society for Plant Pathology

Course outline

This workshop is inspired by the International Year of Plant Health and is part of the BSPP's ongoing drive to provide practical training.

At this course you will learn how to develop writing skills and use photos to best effect. You will discuss a wide range of publishing formats, from short illustrated articles to blogs, educational and advisory material.

All aspects of plant health will be considered, from basic to applied research, practical aspects and policy issues. You'll be given short practical exercises and share tips on writing, photography and design. At the end of the workshop you will combine the short articles you've written into a book.

Further information on course content, contributors and topics can be found on the BSPP event page.
