A lecture delivered by a Natural History Museum senior curator for Shrewsbury's annual Darwin Festival

Each year, the RSB West Midlands branch supports Shrewsbury's annual Darwin Festival by putting on a lecture with a link to the father of evolution, Charles Darwin.

Event outline

For the 2020 Darwin Festival, the lecture will be delivered by Emma Sherlock, senior curator at the London Natural History Museum. Emma will give a talk on 'Darwin's Worms'.

In this fascinating talk, Emma will share inside information on what is many biologists' favourite museum, and will explain what she does with Darwin's (and other) worms!

More information on the speaker can be found on the Natural History Museum website.

The talk will be followed by refreshments and a raffle, making this an afternoon not to be missed.

Venue

The talk will be held at the University Centre, Shrewsbury (Guildhall), in the centre of Shrewsbury by the pedestrian bridge across the river.

There is metered parking by the building and train and bus stations nearby. More information and directions can be found on the University Centre web page.

Cost and booking

This event is free to attend and open to all. Advance booking is essential through the link at the top of the page.
