Overview

The Royal Society of Biology, Royal Society of Chemistry and the Institute of Physics are pleased to present this year's National Conference for Science Technicians on the theme of sustainability.

The event will bring together technical staff from across science sectors, with inspirational speakers and networking opportunities. The conference is free to attend and open to those in technical roles in all sectors of the sciences, including industry, education and research - attendees don't have to be members of any professional body.

The NCST celebrates technical staff and their vital contribution to the sciences, as well as the Technician Commitment. Bringing together attendees from across scientific sectors, the conference offers the opportunity to hear about how you can broaden your career and encourage the next generation of technicians. You'll also be able to network with colleagues and hear from inspirational speakers for talks centred around our theme of sustainability.

The conference is free to attend and open to all technicians, meaning you don't have to be a member of any professional body to attend. However, places are limited, so be sure to register soon to guarantee your place.

Continuing Professional Development

This event is approved by the Royal Society of Biology for purposes of CPD and can be counted as 18 CPD points. This CPD can be used to maintain your professional registration, or work towards a registration application.
