Regional Grant Scheme Scotland
The Regional Grant Scheme in Scotland is currently closed for applications
The grants allow individual biologists or biology-related organisations to apply directly for funding to help run a public engagement or schools event or activity in Scotland.
If you have an idea for an event and are looking for some additional funds to help make it a success, apply now for up to £500 towards event costs. We are looking to fund a wide range of events and activities, supporting both those that are experienced in event delivery, people hoping to organise their first event, and everyone in between.
- Half Grants £50 - £200
- Full Grants £200 - £500
To apply first download our guidance notes for more information. Read details of events funded through the previous rounds of regional grant scheme for ideas, or download our guide to running a local event for more information and advice.

The Royal Society of Biology are continually looking to increase our reach and presence throughout the UK. By directly supporting our members in the delivery of locally focussed events, we can help promote biology further afield and engage new audiences with varied and diverse biological topics.
