BiologyChallengelogoThe online schools competition, Biology Challenge, is now open for registration. Schools wishing to participate are invited to register now for the 2014 competition, open to pupils in Year 9/Year 10 in England and Wales, Year 10/Year 11 in Northern Ireland and S2/S3 in Scotland.

Biology Challenge is an online competition, which gives schools the flexibility to conduct the Challenge in whatever way best suits their pupils, ensuring that they enjoy participating. Questions will be set on the school curriculum but the Biology Challenge will also reward those students whose knowledge of the subject has been increased by reading books and magazines, watching natural history programmes, taking notice of the news media for items of biological interest, and are generally aware of our natural flora and fauna.

The 2014 Biology Challenge will take place between Monday 3rd and Friday 28th March 2014. Certificates for Gold, Silver and Bronze awards from the 2014 competition will be posted to schools in the 2014 summer term. The competition takes place entirely online and consists of two 30 minute papers. The entry fee is £25 per school for an unlimited number of participants.

The 2014 Biology Challenge competition is open for registration until 10th January 2014.
