Meet a zoo keeper with the Zoological Society of London

Join the Zoological Society of London (ZSL) online, from the comfort of your classroom or assembly hall, to give your secondary students the opportunity to meet a ZSL zoo keeper.

Meet one of our dedicated keeper staff, online via Skype, as they describe their role at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo and the importance of good animal husbandry. Discussing topics such as nutrition, veterinary care and enrichment, there will be plenty of time for your students to ask their own questions. This is an amazing opportunity to explore the role of zoos and discover more about careers in animal management and husbandry.

You'll be sent details about our keepers before you meet them, giving you and your students the chance to find out more about their job and plan what you would like to ask.

Digital Outreach sessions can be used to extend learning after a Zoo visit, or can be standalone sessions.

These sessions are free but must be booked in advance. For full details please visit the event website
