Learn more about the variety of careers open to bioscience students at this year's online Royal Society of Biology Bioscience Careers Day (BCD)


Event format

This year the Bioscience Careers Day will take place online over three days from Tuesday 25th March to Thursday 27th March. Each day will comprise of expert panel discussions, Q&As and workshops designed to enhance your knowledge of the variety of careers available to bioscience graduates. 

The theme of this year's BCD is bioscience careers in the modern day. Find out what skills and experience is necessary to thrive in today's rapidly evolving bioscience landscape, and discover how to apply your expertise to exciting and emerging career opportunities in the field.

There will also be opportunities to chat and ask questions to bioscience professionals and other students from across the UK and well as the chance to win free access to RSB training in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning or Writing for Non-specialist Audiences.

Attendees will also receive a certificate of attendance as well as 18 CPD points.

Programme

Each day's programme of talks and discussions will take place from 12:30-14:30.

We've previously had talks on careers in science publishing, animal welfare and wildlife research, plant health, public health and more at past events. Please visit the BCD website to download top presentations from past events.

Who can attend? 

BCD is aimed at undergraduate and master's students.
