Hands-on workshops in biomedical science and in food and nutrition


Event outline

To celebrate British Science Week in Orkney this year, a free open evening will be held at the Robert Rendall Building, Orkney Research & Innovation Campus (ORIC), Franklin Road, Stromness, KW16 3AN on Wednesday 11th March, 2020, 7-8 pm.

Visitors will be able to participate in hands-on STEM activities by exploring nutrition and food science with interactive workshops and activities, including making their own smoothies. The activities will also look at biomedical science, microbiology and haematology.

This event is free to attend and open to all. No advance booking is necessary.
