An online talk on the restoration of The Great Barrier Reef as part of the East Midlands branch Marine Biology Series of events
This online talk from PhD candidate Paige Strudwick will look at the restoration of The Great Barrier Reef and the environmental issues affecting reefs.
The talk is aimed at introducing the general public and marine biology enthusiasts to the importance of coral reefs, reef restoration challenges and insight into her research on coral reef microbiomes. All are welcome to attend.
Paige combines her artwork and science communication into beautifully illustrated resource packs in association with the International Coral Reef Societies' ‘Reefbites' blog. The resource packs include posters, infographics, leaflets and colouring sheets, and will be provided for free when you register for this event.
