Future Priorities for Biological Sciences in Higher Education - 29-30 April 2024.

HUBS are a special interest group of the Royal Society of Biology (RSB), comprised of bioscience departments, represented by their heads of department from over 70 universities from across the UK. HUBS act as a forum for heads of university departments and subject leads to discuss national issues on the provision of research and teaching in the biological sciences.

As part of the HUBS annual conference, the organising committee are inviting academics in the Bioscience discipline area to present at a dedicated AI session on the 30th April 2024. The audience will comprise peers and senior leaders, aiming to share ideas on effectively integrating AI into our educational approach rather than working against it. Topics to consider—though not limited to—include successful initiatives undertaken by yourself and or institute and how you've implemented these in teaching, learning, and subsequent assessments. We are particularly keen on abstract submissions from early career lecturers where we will cover conference fees, and travel costs of up to £100.
