Overview

Too many women leave work or change careers due to the constraints of juggling life or the ever-present glass ceiling. Some struggle, and work part-time, at the expense of advancing their career. Others change their career to fit in with their lifestyle.

The Mums in Science network provides information for those who have the challenge that only women face in the workplace, at home and in life.

This series of online events have been created to cater to women at every stage of their career, and address issues that women in science face in the workplace and beyond. Events cover a variety of topics such as interpersonal skills, communication skills, listening skills, time management and empathy, among other soft skills.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

These workshops have been approved by the Royal Society of Biology for purposes of CPD and each 1 hour workshop counts as 3 CPD points.
