A virtual talk with Dr Steve Portgual, comparative ecophysiologist from Royal Holloway University of London

Migrations are amongst the most spectacular events in nature. Studying Ibis, Pigeons and Naked Mole-rats, this talk will look at how, at the individual level, not all group members benefit equally from travelling together.

Steve is an excellent researcher and communicator, with collaborations with BBC, including the production of the amazing and visually ground-breaking “Life in the air”.
