This event will focus on the application of biomimetics to personal development. It will help you develop practical ideas for your personal growth using your interest in biology. Dr Richardson is a Wessex Branch committee member he has been involved in biomimetics research since 2003. His PhD takes the discipline of biomimetics previously developed in design, engineering and material science and applies it to management science. He has worked across a fusion of biology, engineering and management to develop biological models that have been applied to innovation, strategy and change management. His approach has been successfully adopted in the transport, consumer, pharmaceutical, government, environment and charity sectors. Dr Richardson has published a number of papers, a leadership book and a podcast (
www.biologize.co.uk). His career spans, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, digital and health. He is currently an executive director in the NHS, a visiting fellow at Bournemouth University, an associate lecturer at the Open University Business School and publishes under his own name.
