A three day workshop from the Fondazione Guido Bernardini and the Veterinary Faculty (Utrecht University)

This yearly workshop series will this year address Module 3: Pathology of pigs and ferrets.

Event outline

The workshop is primarily suited to veterinarians specialising in veterinary pathology and PhD students working with the proposed laboratory animal species. Scientists aiming to obtain a broader and deeper knowledge on the pathology of, minipigs and ferrets will also benefit from the workshop.

Focus will be on background pathology and relevant animal models of these species for human diseases. Particular emphasis will be given to innovative in-vitro models. The program will cover background pathology and health monitoring.

The participants will be able to present and discuss cases with renowned pathologists and researchers from leading research institutions.


Please note this event was due to take place from 6-8th April 2020 and has been postponed to 1-3rd October.
