An introduction to flow cytometry

This beginner's course hosted by The Francis Crick Institute is ideal for anyone with minimal or no experience of flow cytometry, who wishes to gain a basic understanding of its technical aspects. This includes how the machine works, how it affects your experiments and how to analyse the resulting data. 

Across two days of classroom-based theory, held at the Francis Crick Institute in London, their expert trainers will also explain the fundamentals of fluorophores and how to choose them, panel design, sample preparation and experimental design.  

The course has been developed by scientists from the Crick's Flow Cytometry science technology platform (STP), which provides high-quality cell analysis and sorting services to research groups across the institute.

This training is limited to 20 delegates. Candidates are required to apply by Thursday 3 July, by completing the application form on the event page. Applications will be reviewed by the lead educators and successful candidates will be invited to register. Registration fees are £480; discounted registration fees of £384 are available to staff and students from Imperial College London, University College London and King's College London.
