BTS Skills Gap training modules
Overview
This training module from the British Toxicology Society Skills Gap Initiative provides an introduction to the types of toxicology studies currently required for regulatory submissions for chemicals and pharmaceuticals. The module also provides an overview of the potential for the use of New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) to replace in vivo studies. The series of six 2-hour webinars will cover acute toxicity, repeated dose toxicity, genetic toxicity, carcinogenicity, developmental and reproductive toxicity and toxicokinetic studies, and will be delivered by experts from industry and government. The in-person Workshop will enable delegates to tackle regulatory case-studies, using information gained from the webinars and with guidance from expert regulatory toxicologists.
Delegates will have access to training materials and webinar recordings.
