BTS Skills Gap training modules
Overview
This training module from the British Toxicology Society Skills Gap Initiative provides an in-depth introduction to genetic toxicology. Areas covered include genotoxic modes of action, testing models (in silico, in vitro and in vivo), data analysis, hazard and risk assessment, advances in testing methods and assessment of the genotoxicity of nanoparticles. The module consists of five 2-hour webinars, concluding with case studies of genetic toxicology assessment from a regulatory perspective (pharmaceutical, cosmetics and agrochemicals). The module will be delivered by the University of Swansea with input from industry experts.
